A benefit concert will be held for Erskine Fire victims on Saturday, July 30, at the Budweiser Pavilion of the Kern County Fairgrounds, 1142 S. P St., in Bakersfield. Two showtimes will be offered from 1 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 10 p.m.

Mark Connors, Charlie Painter, Bucky Evans, Elvis D. Presley and Johnny Horton Jr. Proceeds from the concert will go directly to the local Salvation Army. Funds will be dispersed to the Erskine Fire victims.

Ben & Jerry’s will be providing food and concessions. Tickets cost $30, and are available at Tehachapi Furniture, 20346 W. Valley Blvd., and at the VFW Hall, 221 W. Tehachapi Blvd. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Other groups have reached out to help victims as well and material donations are welcome at the concert.
