A fire at a small housing complex on Shafter Orange Avenues was reported around 3:30 this morning in Shafter. 

According to KCFD, it started in a shed and spread to the smaller "bungalow" type homes near by. It is unclear what started the blaze at this time.

All residents were able to get out safely, but seven people have been displaced. No injuries have been reported.

Firefighters are still working to mop up the fire.
