UPDATE (Nov. 28 5:30 p.m.): Arvin and Shafter police took Jose Carlos Rendon of Arvin into custody Monday afternoon in connection with Sunday's shooting in Arvin.

Rendon was arrested near the intersection of Lerdo Highway and Zerker Road without incident.

Rendon had an active warrant for three counts of attempted murder and three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with a bail of $1,675,000.

Three men men are recovering in an area hospital after being shot Sunday morning in Arvin.

According to Arvin Police Department, officers responded to El Potrero Bar for reports of shots fired just before 2:00 a.m.

Officers arrived and found three men suffering from several gunshot wounds. 

All three victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
