Fire crews are working to contain an abandoned apartment fire in East Bakersfield, on Edison Highway near Fairfax Rd.
Traffic is currently blocked in both directions.
The blaze started around 4:30 this morning.
There are no known injuries and arson investigators are heading to the scene.
