On July 15, 2016, around 10:15am, Bakersfield police observed a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Olive Drive and Hwy. 99. Officers observed the driver of the vehicle commit several driving violations but before officers could stop the car, the driver abruptly stopped and ran.
The driver was later located in the area and arrested. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 40 pounds of methamphetamine.
