A vehicle accident on southbound Airport Drive, at State Road has traffic backed up in the area.
It happened shortly after 2 p.m. Friday afternoon.
The Bakersfield Police Department and Kern County Sheriffs office are on scene investigating.
No word yet on what caused the crash.
