BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Adventist and Dignity Health announced the first babies born in the new year.

At Memorial Hospital, Asaiah was born at 12:06 a.m. at six pounds to Lesly Diaz.

At Adventist Health, Mikael Anaya was born at 2:05 a.m. at eight pounds to the Anaya family.
