BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Adventist Health Bakersfield wants you to help them celebrate national hospital week.
Health officials said they are inviting the community to come write inspiring messages in chalk on the sidewalk in front of their main hospital. Adventist health will even supply the chalk in individual bags for those in need of supplies.
Everyone who comes to chalk the sidewalk is asked to practice social distancing and wear masks while participating.
People can come write their messages Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. To 5 p.m. each day. Chalk supplies can be picked up at the hospital check-in area.
Adventist Health Bakersfield medical center is located at 2615 Chester Avenue.
