Adventist Health Bakersfield President and CEO, Sharlet Briggs provided some clarification on mask count in Bakersfield Sunday.
Briggs told 23ABC News that, "The Public Health Department has been amazing, they have been ordering stuff and delivering it to us so we have masks so the concern right now about a shortage in masks...is NOT a correct concern, what we have been doing is asking the public to get involved in making what we call thank you masks."

Briggs is also asking the community to drop off the masks at the Houchin Donor Center during regular business hours.
