The AIS Cancer Center is offering free clinical breast exams and screenings on Tuesday.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Adventist Health is hosting the free event at their central Bakersfield location from 5 to 7 p.m.

The American Cancer Society recommends clinical breast exams every three years for women in their 20s and 30s, and every year for women 40-years-old and older.

The event is Tuesday, October 24 at 2620 Chester Avenue.
