Aera Energy took time out to honor Mayor Harvey Hall for his service to the community and present a check to the United Way of Kern County for $75,000 on November 29.
Total contributions from Aera to communities in which they operate will total $150,000 to United Way agencies of California.
The organization also took time out to celebrate employee contributions for the year at the event.
