San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick took a seat during the national anthem over the weekend in protest.
Kaepernick said he would not stand during the Star Spangled Banner under the country stops oppressing people of color.
His protest was particularly targeting law enforcement.
In response to the football player’s protest, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office took to Facebook:
The officers invited Kaepernick to the Alameda County Regional Training Center to share experiences.
