A new grocery store is coming to southwest Bakersfield this week.
The ribbon cutting ceremony for ALDI's on Stockdale Highway will be held on Thursday at 8:25 a.m.
The grand opening will feature a golden ticket giveaway for the first 100 shoppers. There will also be a sweepstakes for free produce for a year and a reusable bag giveaway.
The new store located at 5901 Stockdale Highway will be ALDI's second location in Bakersfield. The ALDI's on Panama Lane opened in May last year.
