Alta Sierra will be closed today, Presidents' Day.
The sun just allowed us to see the damage last nights RAIN did to the snow. We must CLOSE today. It's raining HARD right now & we apologize!

The resort stated that the rain has caused a lot of damage to the snow. There is no indication of whether it will reopen next weekend.
