Anyone looking to hit the slopes at Alta Sierra on Monday will have some fresh snow to play with.
On Monday morning, the ski resort reported that it got 8-9 inches of new snow. Not only that, but the tube park is open.
In a tweet Monday, Alta Sierra emphasized the need for visitors to use chains if planning a trip to the area.
8-9” of new snow. Tube Park now OPEN. Chains, chains, chains are needed. Snow level down to 3500’. Wind drove thru and trees were down (we cut them out of your way)! 8-9” of fresh powder for MLK Day. 🏂⛷❄️👍 pic.twitter.com/6O1ZFk0Nrn
