Officials with the Alta Sierra Ski Resort have confirmed that they will be open this weekend.
Alta Sierra has been open each of the last two three-day weekends and will be open once again Feb. 20-21.
Prior to re-opening in January, the ski resort had not been open in three years. Weather from El Nino is partly being credited with provided enough snow for the resort to open this year.
Officials said that they got six inches of snow from overnight.
