WOFFORD HEIGHTS, Calif. — Hang up the skis this weekend, Alta Sierra announced the resort will be closed Saturday and Sunday.
The resort posted on Twitter Friday saying that due to warmer weather and a lack of snowfall, the lifts will not be running this weekend.

They hope a future snowfall will allow them to open runs next week and encourage visitors to keep checking their social media for updates.
