If you thought Alta Sierra was going to be open this weekend, think again.

Due to a lack of precipitation, there is not enough snow for the ski resort to be open to the public. Alta Sierra posted the following message on Facebook to let fans know they wouldn't be able to hit the slopes this weekend.

It's unclear when the ski season will open, but we're sure Alta Sierra and snow lovers are hoping sooner rather than later!
