BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Alzheimer's Disease Association Of Kern County, Inc. will pass out free tacos May 5 to clients, caregivers and the community for the Give Big Kern celebration of Cinco de Mayo from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. curbside in front of the Center, 4203 Buena Vista Road.

ADAKC gives a special thanks to a donation from Wonderful Halos to cover the cost of the tacos.

“So many of our clients miss our Center and our team. They have been isolated in their homes for weeks. We hope the incentive to drive by, see a familiar face and enjoy free tacos, helps them remember that we miss them, too and that they are not alone,” said Janelle Capra, executive director, ADAKC.

ADAKC will pass out 100 tacos until they run out.

Event to take place practicing social distancing, only drive by pick up only.
