The Alzheimer’s Disease Association of Kern County was presented with a $4,000 check Thursday thanks to ticket sale money from the first annual Bakersfield Wing Festival.
The festival took place last month at Stramler Park and included a wing eating contest and hottest sauce award.
A second Bakersfield Wing Festival is in the works for next June at the Kern County Fairgrounds.
