Local amateur motorcyclists had a need for speed. This weekend the Buttonwillow Raceway Park was open for amateurs to take their motorcycles out onto the track and put their pedal to the metal.

The two-day TrackDaz event allowed the motorcyclists a controlled environment for them to test the speeds of their bike. Organizers rented two Hall Ambulances to be ready incase of any crashes as well as had an inspection team to check the motorcycles before they went onto the track.

Amateur motorcyclists hit speeds over 120mph as they flew around the track. Organizers even offered fans a chance to experience the speed for themselves as they let them jump on the back and ride with a more experienced biker.

This year was the 19th time TrackDaz has come to Buttonwillow. And it allowed anyone with a motorcycle and gear to hit the track for a fee.
