America Ferrera, who played Helen Chavez in the 2014 film "Cesar Chavez", tweeted out her condolences to the Chavez family this week. 

Rest in peace Helen Chavez. She was a fierce partner to Cesar Chavez in the @UFW fight for justice. My deepest condolences to her family.
