American Crime fans got a sneak peek of the new season today at Cal State Bakersfield.

The show's executive producer, actor and staff writer were in town to show the third season's first two episodes. 

This season the show will focus on the exploitation of humans, with storylines of human trafficking and forced labor.

The show's producers say they chose Bakersfield for the screening because those issues happen right here in Kern County. 

Season three of American Crime premieres on Sunday on ABC at 10 p.m.
