Beginning Thursday, Amtrak will begin implementing a new fee for passengers who exceed baggage limits.
The train operator says it will charge passengers $20 if they exceed restrictions for carry-on and personal items.
Currently, customers are allowed to bring two personal items weighing up to 25 pounds and two carry-on bags weighing no more than 50 pounds. The fee would then apply to anything above those limits.
