The Amy B. Seibert Elementary School sent a letter to parents and students Tuesday after a situation regarding an adult male and a male student.

On Monday near the corner of Agate and Gemline an adult male approached a male student and asked him to come home with him.

The adult male grabbed the child by the wrist in an attempt to get closer to him, but a school parent saw it happened and helped the child report it to the office.

The incident is being investigated. A man was arrested as a person of interest.
