The city of McFarland is holding its annual Cinco de Mayo celebration that kicks off on Thursday. 

The carnival begins Thursday, April 26 and runs through Sunday, April 29. Thursday and Friday the carnival is from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, the carnival is 1 to 9:30 p.m.

The carnival will be at Browning Road Park at 220 Browning Road. 

The Annual Cinco de Mayo Parade will be Sunday at 2 p.m. beginning at East Sherwood Avenue and Browning Road, continuing northbound on Browning Road and ending at Browning Road Park. 

The carnival and parade is open to the public.
