Saturday, the Bakersfield Homeless Center is holding its annual Easter Eggstravaganze Carnival and egg hunt for the children at the Bakersfield Homeless Center.
This carnival will feature an appearance by the Easter Bunny.
The event will also feature carnival booths sponsored by community partners, games, music, food, and a bounce house!
Join BHC for the event and photo opportunity of the children celebrating Easter.
The event kicks off at 10 a.m. and ends at noon.

The Bakersfield Homeless Center has provided year round emergency shelter, food, clothing, and supportive services for over 20 years to women, children, and families. On average, the Bakersfield Homeless Center provides shelter to 100 children each night. BHC also offers a state licensed child care facility, Discovery Depot, for ages 0-5 years old. This facility allows our clients the security of knowing their children are safely taken care of as they seek the services needed to get themselves back on their feet.
