BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – This morning, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office is holding its annual Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony.

The event is happening at 10 a.m. at the Sheriff’s Office Memorial Monument at 1350 Norris Road.

The ceremony will pay tribute to local law enforcement officials who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

The public is welcome to attend the ceremony.
