Bakersfield Police are investigating another crash involving a pedestrian and a car, for the second night in a row.
This time BPD said the crash happened on Hughes lane near Bea Ct. just north of White Lane. The crash was reported around 9:45 p.m.
Officials said alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a factor. They said the area is not well lit and the victim was wearing dark clothing.
Firefighters on scene reported the victim had major injuries.
On Tuesday, the CHP along with Bakersfield Police were investigating a vehicle and pedestrian crash that happened on S. Chester Ave. near Wilson road. That victim also sustained major injuries.
