Summer travelers you're in luck!! Airfare will be cheaper than it's been in almost a decade!
According to the airfare prediction app Hopper, fares for advanced purchase tickets will likely be down about 12% compared to last summer.
Hopper says it will be down 20% from two years ago. That means fares will be at a 7-year low.
Average fares during the summer are expected to range from a peak of $240 in June, then drop to $211 by August.
