(UPDATE 6/26/18 9:00 a.m.): The Army family, who's moving truck and car were stolen over the weekend, now say their belongings have been recovered by Bakersfield Police.

Shanna Sokolosky says most of their items were recovered, and their car was still on a trailer attached to the truck. Shanna says she believes it was the Bakersfield community that lead to the truck being returned safe and sound. Her husband John is now on his way back to Bakersfield to collect their things and take them to their new home in D.C.
