Array Technologies opened a 200 megawatt solar energy site in Kern County.

The Garland Solar Facility is located on 2,000 acres of desert.

The electricity and associated renewable energy credits (RECs) generated by the Garland facility will be sold under two long-term power purchase agreements with Southern California Edison (SCE),

The facility was opened with partners Southern Power and Recurrent Energy.
