Artists are taking part in the "Covered in Art" bus tour making stops in cities in California in order to promote enrollment in health insurance. 

The Covered California bus is scheduled to begin its tour in Los Angeles before turning back up north to travel through cities including San Luis Obispo and Bakersfield. 

The artists will be painting murals on certain locations in the communities of certain cities to attract attention to enrollment locations and promote health and wellness. 

Open enrollment begins today, November 1, 2017 in California and runs through January 31, 2018. This is the one time a year when anyone who needs health insurance can enroll without having to meet special qualifying conditions.
