BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Sierra Vista Elementary School in Arvin is raffling off $100 to one lucky student to celebrate the 100th day of school.

Every student that comes to school on the 100th day of school will be entered into the raffle. Then, at the end of the day, 1 ticket will be drawn and a lucky student will walk away with $100 in cash.

Sierra Vista's 100th day of school is January 24th. Students and staff will also have the chance to dress up as if they were 100-years-old to celebrate the special day.

Sierra Vista Elementary School is located at Franklin Street in Arvin.
