Update: The man who was shot and killed in Arvin Monday night has been identified.
Arvin police say 32-year-old Moses Joseph Delafuenta was found on Langford Avenue, near Butte Avenue just before 5:30 p.m. suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no suspect information at this time.
Arvin Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead.
Officials said on Friday, just before 9:00 p.m. Arvin PD responded to reports of a shooting that happened near Laurel Avenue and Stockton Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene and located a 27-year-old Hispanic male inside of a vehicle, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.
The male was transported to the hospital and later died as a result of his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing. The Kern County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim at a later time.
