The National Weather Service in Hanford tweeted a photo Friday morning of ashes on a vehicle's mirror in Tulare due to the Cedar Fire.

The Cedar Fire, which started Tuesday afternoon, has burned more than 12,500 acres as of Friday night, forcing evacuations in both Kern and Tulare County.
