BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Emmanuel Lutheran Church's Pastor Dawn Wilder will be offering Ashes on the Street to downtown workers on their way to work and to the public in the government center on Wednesday morning.

The Ash Wednesday event will begin at 7:30 a.m. on the west side of the Kern County Courts Building, across the street from Kern County Jury Services Department.
