Eight fire arms, including two assault-style weapons, and 1,200 marijuana plants are off the streets, while a Kern county man is facing charges related to the bust.

Deputies said the raid occurred Thursday afternoon, near the area of Wildwood Road by Highway 46 on a report of a large marijuana grow on a compound. During the search officials said they found another location about thirty yards from the original location. And they arrested 50-year-old Miguel Lopez Rubio on charges related to the bust.
