Local Assemblyman Rudy Salas is teaming up with a local jiu-jitsu business to offer free self-defense classes on October 13.
Salas is expected to be at the event which is being put on in partnership with Camarillo Jiu-Jitsu which is located at 811 19th Street in downtown Bakersfield.
Two class times are offered, one at 10 a.m. and the other at 11 a.m.
