Are you being scammed or not? Assemblymember Rudy Salas (D-Bakersfield), is hosting a workshop geared towards helping seniors identify when they're being scammed and how to prevent it.
Event organizers said the event will be held on Tuesday September 11th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church in Bakersfield. The workshop will feature experts who’ll provide safety tips to help seniors prevent fraud, identity theft, elder financial abuse, insurance fraud, and more.
Seniors, their families and caregivers are welcomed to attend the workshop. St. John Baptist Church is located at 1401 East Brundage Lane.
