Assemblymember Rudy Salas joined Kern Medical to participate in their 'Doc for a Day' program.

The program was created to learn about the work that Kern Medical is doing on a range of health issues that are important to the Central Valley.

Throughout the day, Salas toured the Kern Medical facilities and met with physicians, employees and patients to learn more about their ongoing efforts to improve the lives of patients and families in the Central Valley.

“Kern Medical is a leading center for health care services, resources, education and research in the Central Valley and across California,” Salas said. “I am thankful for the opportunity to be a ‘Doc for the Day’ to learn more about the innovative health care work being done at Kern Medical and see firsthand the dedication of the health care experts, professionals and physicians at Kern Medical that work every single day to meet the health care needs of our communities.”
