The Assistance League of Bakersfield is hosting a BBQ lunch fundraiser on May 10th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

The lunch fundraiser will be held at 20th St. and R St. 

Lunch includes a deep-pit sandwich, condiments, chips, cookie and water for $10. 

The meat inside of the deep-pit sandwich is prepared by Matin's Meats and Deli and will be served by Assistance League of Bakersfield volunteers. 

All proceeds raised will benefit Operation School Bell.
