At least one person was killed in a crash early Tuesday morning on Bear Mountain Boulevard at Ashe Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a semi-truck was headed westbound on Bear Mountain Boulevard when a pickup truck tried to pass it. A car headed eastbound tried to swerve out of the way of the oncoming pickup and collided with the big rig. 

The CHP is looking for the driver of the pickup. 

Traffic in the area has slowed down.
