(UPDATE 11/2) The Kern County Coroner identified the woman whose body was found inside a car that was found in an embankment in Wofford Heights Saturday.
According to the coroner's report, 27-year-old Darin Marie Pryor, of Bodfish, lost control of her car and crashed into the embankment off of Burlando Road, south of Plater Road.
She died at the scene from her injuries.
One person has died after a car fell down an embankment south of Kernville Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol traffic website, the vehicle was traveling on Burlando Road shortly after 4:30 p.m. when the driver of the vehicle lost control, causing the vehicle to fall down an embankment.
The traffic page shows that two toddlers were in the vehicle during the incident, but their injuries have not been confirmed at this time. Both toddlers have been airlifted to a local hospital.
CHP officer David Bunting told 23ABC News that the mother of the toddlers has died.
Both directions of Burlando Road are currently blocked by CHP units as they investigate.
