Update (Monday, November 28th, 2 p.m.) : The Kern County Coroner has identified the victim as 47-year-old Gerald Mitchell of Mojave. The cause of death is still pending.

At least one person is dead near Tehachapi after an early morning crash. 

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatchers website officers were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover on Tehachapi Willow Springs Rd. and Cameron Canyon Rd. 

The crash happened just after 3:30 a.m. 

Officials shut down the roadway at Tehachapi Willow Springs Rd and Oak Creek Rd. 

The crash is under investigation.
