A fatal crash involving an ATV killed one and injured another Monday afternoon, according to KCSO.

Deputies received a call of a quad accident in the hills north of Highway 33 and Fiester Street around 4 p.m. Two adult females on an ATV went down a hill and dropped over a thirty foot embankment.

The driver, who was not wearing a helmet, died on scene. The passenger, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Kern Medical with non-life threatening injuries.
