BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — At least one person is dead following a traffic collision northeast of Bakersfield Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP traffic incident website shows that the collision occurred around 1:19 p.m. on Granite Road, just south of State Route 155 in Glennville.

The website does not indicate how the traffic collision occurred or how many people are involved, but the collision is listed as a "fatality."

Traffic may be restricted in the area.
