Blue Oak Coffee has been roasting beans for years in Tehachapi, but now it has a new official storefront right in downtown Bakersfield. This isn't your traditional coffee. Blue Oak offers unique and delicious flavors to your standard cup of joe.

The owners drive to town from Tehachapi and Frazier Park every day to roast and brew fresh coffee and espresso for the Bakersfield community. They even bake pastries, cookies, and donuts fresh daily.

Some of the flavor options include caramel banana bread and for Harry Potter fans, Butterbeer! These coffee aficionados figured out a way to blend syrups to create new tasty options.

The bakery cabinet at Blue Oak also changes daily. Some reoccurring favorites are the apple cider donuts and Rolo cookies. But for "fresh-out-of-the-oven" specials, check their Facebook and Instagram.

Blue Oak Coffee Roasting is located at 1717 20th Street in downtown Bakersfield.

It is open M-F 6 a.m.- 4 p.m.
