Bakersfield is known for their Mexican cuisine and one local restaurant continues to serve authentic dishes to the community.

Rancho Grande, a staple in town for 10 years, is expanding their reach by opening a second location. Owner Juan wants to offer fresh, homemade meals to as many as possible.

This new location, open for 6 months, is also a test spot for new and creative dishes. At The Table got an exclusive look at some new items that will be rolled out soon.

The fresh white fish and shrimp flautas explode with flavor and will be great additions to the already delicious menu. 

You will also find other authentic dishes like grandma's mole, arroz con pollo, and chile verde.

Not only can you dine at Rancho Grande on Coffee Road, a third location is expected to open next year on Allen and Brimhall.
