Vegan restaurants are starting to pop up around Kern County. One local spot wanted to bring vegan fast food to the community.

Shake 'N Buns, known for their burgers, shakes, and fries, is now serving a new population. Owner Ali realized many people in town have dietary restrictions and he wanted to be able to cater to them as well.

Now Shake 'N Buns has a full vegan and dairy-free menu offering burgers, shakes, fries, and more.

The Impossible burger is a staple on the menu. It is a burger patty that looks, smells, and tastes like meat, but is made from plants!

You can also find buffalo "chicken" sandwiches, grilled "teases," and "chili" cheese fries.

The shakes are also made with dairy-free ice cream in various flavors like Oreo and Nutterbutter!
